I’ve always loved the John Varvatos look. As a fellow New Yorker/Los Angeles resident, the style truly translates no matter where I wear these clothes… but above all else, the shoe – a.k.a. THE Combat Boot – is one JV piece I wear almost daily. The construction is perfect, the leather is “buttah”, and it goes beautifully with tight jeans, loose jeans, clean slacks, a modern suit and some can even “pull the look off” with shorts. It’s a shoe I will have for at least 10 years, ones that will grow old gracefully and need just a little TLC. (Retails for $498 – $679 depending on style/season)
