…via a new online “Avedon” experience that reveals the artist in a completely new light. The photographer has shaped the face of fashion photography, probably as much as Madonna has changed her look over the years. However, Richard Avedon has done so with a much stronger aesthetic direction. We all know his portraits of porcelain textured beauties in-front of draped gray cloth… with amazing african animals no doubt. Check out his later, more politically charged work from the 1970’s or his attempts at dreamlike surrealism later in his career.
